RE: No Allocations....

Sounds fishy, are other people shouting louder than you and being 'bumped' out of the pool faster than you are?

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).

RE: No Allocations....

From what I have learned, some dealers have a huge allocation compared to others based on customer base, past performances, repeat business & market research.
have a look on some of the Land Rover forums and you will quickly learn who the ones with the biggest allocations are. Look for dealers that have won dealership awards for instance. Lookers Park Royal, Yeovil Land Rover, Lakeland Land Rover, Rocar Moores all spring immediately to mind.

Ordered 3-4-2012 - Build date 27-6-2012 - Delivery expected 9-7-2012 - Actual delivery 29-6-2012
SD4 Auto Dynamic, Orkney Grey with black pano roof, style 7 wheels, lux pack, verve interior, ebony headlining, privacy glass, adaptive xenons, heated steering wheel, load retension system.

RE: No Allocations....

I'm also looking at delivery later than 6 months from order date sadly - placed order on March 17th with a confident assertion that it should be delivered in 6 months and might even come in quicker. Now, after chasing from my side (I'm not sure this would have been volunteered) the dealer has told me that I almost certainly won't make the September delivery.

They also seem to be rather shy about providing any background on where I am in the queue / what their current monthly build slot allocations looks like. They have told me that following a change of ownership that they are trying to negotiate a bigger allocation.

Doesn't look promising - I'd encourage any prospective purchasers to really do their homework.. And to not necessarily trust what the dealer says in order to get the order.....

Have you tried a different dealer? I placed my order in April and requested a November delivery. Went back to dealer last month to ask if we could bring it forward and have a build date for 16/7 with delivery first week of August.
