I downloaded the iPhone app as above, put in the figures from the past couple of days and have a return of 50.44 mpg.

Suggests to me that the Eco data in the car is working/showing correctly.

100 miles in just below 20mpg so far hehe, all miles done in and around a small village and around windy B roads.
