Can't they design their own cars? Oh, they can't can they that's why they copy everyone else! Shouldn't be allowed, grrrrrrr

RE: New Land Rover... sorry, Land Wind
Land Rover already has a joint venture with a Chinese car maker to make the cars for the Chinese market locally to get around punishing import duties so it will be interesting to see what legal battles over the car follow! I like the comments from Shitty Car Hater on the link posted - nothing like being to the point!
One of the bigger Chinese car makers bought all the presses for the old Opel/Vauxhall Frontera and started building them out there. Euro N Cap purchased one - when they examined they found that every bit of safety technology that GM had engineered into the original had been removed, side impact beams had been removed and replaced by solid steel bars........ you get the idea. It is the only car ever to score ZERO points in testing. The problem for us is that these Chinese copy cars are on sale in Eastern Europe. One of the garages in North Glasgow (in one of the smartest suburbs too!) has just got itself appointed as a dealer for the Great Wall brand of Chinese made cars!
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Love the hitech design of the rear screen wiper...............
If Land Wind can produce them for $22000 then it makes you wonder how much we are all being ripped off by if the Chinese are willing to pay $63000 for the real thing. Maybe Land Rover should play Land Wind at their own game and reduce the price in China to $22000 too.

Watch the crash test at 1.10... then say you'd still consider a cheap Chinese copy!

That crash test dummy will never be the same again... They are cheap because no development goes into them, cut, shut, patch, sell.
