Need HELP before placing a Deposit on a RRE!!!!!

I'm looking to place a deposit by this weekend on a band new MY13 SD4 Pure Fuji White 5door for $72k with the following option and wanted to know if i'm getting a good deal.

The extra are:
Rain Sensing Wipers
Power Folding Mirrors
Automatic Transmission
Pure Tech Pack
Panoramic Glass Roof
Headlamps Automatic
Park Distance Control Front
Rear View Camera

The only thing it doesn't have that I wanted is the Sat Nav Whats everyone experience on the Sat Nav, is worth getting it or getting a non-generic one? Has anyone installed a non-generic Sat Nav on the RRE? If so what your experience?

That's a good price, a nice range of add ons there . Paying for sat nav that LR will probably never update is not worth it. A $300 Tom Tom will do a better job.

Looks like a pretty good deal to me. It's a bit less than I paid for my TD4 Dynamic with much the same gear.
I also went without sat nav. In fact the sales guy talked me out of it. His point was that for all of Australia LR need to buy only a few thousand maps where as Tom Tom or Garmin buy millions. Hence they can offer better updates and pricing. Kinda made sense the way he put it. He also made the point that the only option that really retains value at resale is the pano roof. No one is gonna be interested in 5 year old sat nav at resale time....

if you can get it I would seriously suggest adding the electronic tailgate. You won't regret it.

Do you have sat nav in your current car? if so how often do you use it? I had sat nav in my old car only really used it a handful to times over 7 years, did not bother optioning when I bought my Evoque.

Well I went to the dealer today and place a deposit but not a this car on another car that is coming in 2 weeks. So for a extra $3k I got the following additional option.
1) Sat Nav
2) Metallic Paint (ORKNEY GREY)
3) Contrast Roof (Black)
4) 19'' Alloy Style 5
5) 3 Year Free service with loan car

I feel the dealer pushed me...and i fell for it....I hope I have done the right thing????? I will tell everyone which dealer it is once my finance is sorted and everything goes ok.
