My13

Being told today by a worker at Halewood thats the first my13 came down the production line yesterday he said its estimated that 750 are now being produced every day. hope mine is one and being produced earlier than my 31st build date.he what he sent me.

Hi Ian, as of yesterday all evoques coming down the line are all MY13, I do think there is a good chance yours will come early, if you get your vin you can get a rough idea what day it will be built. ( check the last 6 numbers of vin) we are currently on 706158, and building aprox 750 a day, I'll keep you informed of any updates cheers Wayne.

Mine is due soon as well, but at what point can you get your VIN? i.e. how long before build?

Not to sure i've emailed my dealer tonight so he should give me a answer tomorrow.

Going by your order date you should be at the front of the que.

My dealer has quoted me a build date of 10th September, but that was a couple of weeks back.
I'm going to pop in and hassle him again on Friday, so I will see what I can find out, but judging on my experience with them so far it won't be a lot.

Hi Wayne, Can you confirm if the production line is running 7 or 5 days a week? thx!

Damn I must have missed being MY13 by mere days. I am 703841 from July 26, and the JLR worker Said they are only upto 706xxx which is about 3000 units. At 700 a day that's bout 6-7 days of production, Which marries up with them being back at work a week from 2 weeks leave. That's balls... 2 days old and basically superseded lol

I wouldn't worry, the car has hardly changed and I prefer the original grille.

Yeah but 2 days can make a big difference selling a car in 3 years
