My car has arrived at last!

After 6 months of waiting my New Evoque is here!!! SD4 Pure +Tech in Firenze Red!! Its gorgeous, sitting on the dealer forecourt in its own space with my name plastered across the front windscreen If elt proud pulling in to handover!!!

Had a very smooth handover from Guy Salmon of Stratford Upon Avon. They even threw in a spa day for my girlfriend and a land rover experience day voucher for 2!! Thorough inspection of the car and guided tour of all of the features. Even sync'd my iphone to it. Pre-set the DAB and radio channels.

Well what can I say about the car, WOW!!! its an incredible machine. The build quality and the materials used are immense. I've done 100 miles already and i can't stop smiling to myself. you got so many looks and people pointing. Makes you feel great inside!!!

The rise is very smooth, and the gearbox feels really firm and sturdy, not flimsy like some cars. Still trying to get my head around the Sat Nav, its no TomTom but its still a great addition.

I really can't find any faults with this vehicle!!!

All i can say to anybody having to wait for their order, HANG ON IN THERE. its worth it all the way!!!

Sorry for the delay getting abck to you all. Had to work long hours in Milton Keynes past couple of days.

I ordered a 5door as i wasn't impressed with the coupe's very slow moving seats. Plus I'm liking the idea of having easy access to the rear seats.

I've done 2 return journeys now to Milton Keynes, and this car makes that journey amazing. The sat nav is very clever, i ran low on fuel, and all of sudden it displayed all the nearest Petrol Stations!! Its the little touches that I'm really liking.

I have found one thing though, i don't like, they keyring given to me by the dealer ( Its green, and gold, and it looks tacky! Getting that replaced ASAP!!! lol

Enjoy, nice to hear it puts a smile on your face, I had mine in feb, and I am still grinning with 20000miles now under its belt, still looks as good as new.

Almost need an excuse to go out for a drive, hope you ordered the pan roof, my favourite feature.

Did anybody take out GAP insurance. My dealer wants £750!!!

Nooooo! Don't buy any of the insurances from the dealer - they are all available much cheaper if you REALLY want them. There are a couple of forum sponsors that do them and IIRC the GAP is about £150
