RE: My Fuji Dynamic SD4 Manual

So my 2 front door windows have a coating on them repelling water, the rear doors dont... is this standard delivery? seems odd, why not do all side glass.

So filled up again today 137.9p total of £71, got 337 miles since last fill up. Trip claims 35mpg, and after filling up claims 430 miles range (rather than 450 as last time)

520 miles on engine now.

So dropped into the dealer and handed the receptionist the gear knob Laughing all fitted properly now Smile

Sadly I'd noticed a small flaw in the paint which they also looked at and now its got to go back for a respray at the body shop Sad it a shame im so busy in the new year otherwise been good to get it done after the motorway trips for xmas incase I picked up a stone chip.

A great thread Philskill - the paint comment is interesting (and obviously disappointing too), What kind of paint defect have you found?

I must admit my local dealer had a black Prestige in the showroom and the paint finish under the rather unforgiving showroom lights along the sides of the car was simply cr*p - orange peel finish. The roof, bonnet (hood for our US friends) and tailgate were excellent. I did contemplate Baltic blue - but decided against a dark colour on that basis.

Delivered 15th May 2012, rejected and returned 4th Feb 2013 - SD4 5 door Prestige manual with a bucket full of rattles Mauritius Blue. Crazy Audi MY2020 RSQ3

RE: My Fuji Dynamic SD4 Manual

Hi Straydox, The same flaw is under each headlamp washer hole, the paint stops slightly short of the edge and has a tiny crack along the edge. Dealer didn't question it, just said it's not right, sent some pics to LR and same day were requesting it back for a respray of the front. Kinda glad I didn't go metallic now! Otherwise the finish is outstanding couldn't fault it anywhere else while waxing every inch closely... Guess I'll be re-waxing the front now. I'll try and get some pics if I'm ever near my Evoque in daylight!

Maybe I should try the headlamp washers before it's done, incase they're the problem... can you manually operate them rather than using the every 4 windscreen washer pulls method?
