My Evoque ...... almost

Congrats Ant! I think my dealer is the only one that doesnt seem to know about any delays or if my car is coming early, on time, or late. Kinda annoying that I know more than he does just by visiting this forum.

Today .......................... My Evoque didn't arrive and I didn't hear from my dealer. Not surprising, but I'm impatient. I feel like taking a trip to Gaydon to see if it's in the field over there - except I wouldn't know which was mine!!!!
Hopefully hear something by the end of the week.

Ant my dealer said I could pick mine up tomorrow but I'm collecting it on Monday as they say I can have it tomorrow on a 61 plate but if I want my private plate on it, then I have to wait. I bet your all excited. Well worth the wait mate!!

Mine might be ready by the end of the week - (although I've got to get the plate on mine too).
26th is the delivery date I was given a few months ago, so if it makes it on Monday I'll be a happy bunny.

Well i hope you have better luck than me Ant, Just had this email from my dealer after i asked if the car had been built, should have gone into build on the 9th Sept, it was then put back into build on the 14th which was confirmed, Prestige SD4 Manual.

This was his reply from the factory.

I have literally just had an e-mail from the factory, and the 3 cars I’m waiting for have been delayed because of the Xenon headlamps and reverse camera situation. Your vehicle will be off production line this Friday, so we’d expect here by the end of next week/beginning of the week after.



All I can do is apologise on the behalf of the factory, as it seems they may have lost their way a bit unfortunately.



I have been asked to contact them again Monday for a further update, which I will do and inform you.

Hi MIB. It's difficult to know what's going on and what's truth and what's fiction. I've been told that my car came out of build on 18th, so I'm just waiting, impatiently, for it to be transported down to South Wales - it's not far from Liverpool - come on LR/DHL pull your fingers out.
Hope you get yours sooner rather than later !

@ant - I think u need to go to TOPIX to look at the service bulletins as these may give some idea why your car is not being released to you as quickly as u might like.
