My Evoque No 2!

Very pleased with my Evoque owner experience so far. My 2011 Fuji White Evoque Prestige Coupe will be 5 years old this year, so I decided it was time for a change. Looked and a few different makes and style of car but decided t stay with the Evoque.
As of 2 weeks ago I am now the owner of a 2016 Evoque HSE Dynamic Coupe in Yulong White. Very Happy

RE: My Evoque No 2!

I still think the Coupe looks better than the 5 door even though they only sell in tiny numbers! Just think, when LR launched the Evoque in 2011 they expected more than 60% of sales to be coupes, how wrong were they?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: My Evoque No 2!

I almost ordered a 5 door this time but can't justify having all those doors for two of us! Wink
Almost ordered the convertible as a base model was the same price but I need the boot space for bikes! The convertible would hold about two full size suitcases only!
The Coupe is the same price as the 5 door now also.

I happened to park next to a 2011 5 door Evoque Pure Saturday.
Although not model to model, it's interesting to see the changes.

Is the screen more upright on my 2016?

Side-by-side, that coupe looks especially crisp! Very nice with the black package and roof too.

Very interesting to see the cars side by side and how they have evolved. I paid the £1000 premium for the coupe, could never understand why it was more expensive, opportunistic marketing.

How many miles did you do in your first car?

Mark

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR

My profile pic is my first one and I rejected it (within the first week) for missing Automatic Cruise Control and mismatched headliner. The placeholder car had more than 20k on it when I finally took delivery. I was in it for 14 months.

RE: My Evoque No 2!

Just changed my 2012 Firenze Prestige SD4 manual at 59000 miles for a Firenze (with Santorini roof) HSE Dynamic auto. First time I have ever bought another of same car...shows how much I enjoyed it-reliable too.
Both have Pano, adaptive dynamics, adaptive headlights (LEDS this time), and moved the black roof rails to the new car.

Just picked up the HSE today...engine is so much smoother and nine speed box impressive. More comfy over smaller bumps too. Only slight negative ..is the steering slightly less highly geared now? Seems slightly less keen to turn in at small inputs, maybe the Goodyear tyres just need scrubbing in?
Any thoughts from others?

#1...Prestige SD4, Firenze, manual, adaptive dynamics and xenons, pano, black rails...not much else
Del 1/3/12 ,59000 very enjoyable miles
#2...HSE Dynamic TD4180, March 2016, Firenze with Santorini roof, roof rails from #1, auto, adaptive dynamics, pano, adaptive LEDs...Meridian 380W..and heated steering wheel! This is Scotland after all!
