Head restraint mounts for tablet type computers

For those considering mounting iPads or other brands of tablet computers on head restraint mounts for the rear passengers I see that the Brodit Proclip tablet mount now has a backing plate kit that allows headrestraint mounting of their Proclip mounts for tablet computers (iPads) on RRE head restraints except - appears to fit all models except Dynamic Plus seats.

If you cannot get the link to work (I've had problems with it) go to http://www.brodit.com and use the car models fields of the search - Land Rover/Range Rover Evoque/ Model year 2012

I have a Defender dash mount Brodit and it works really well - have not yet had my iPad fall out even in severe off road use.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

LR have introduced one too by the looks of it in the acessories section of the evoque website. i'm sure it will be more expensive than the brodit one though.

It is considerably more expensive! £350 for one IIRC

RE: Head restraint mounts for tablet type computers

That is the price James posted over on the FFRR forums................... before forum discount. Actually I think it was slightly less than that, £330 inc VAT. Still a lot though for LR to buy them in, put a sticker on them and then sell them on and you would think that the bulk buying power they have they would have discount on the Brodit price.........

Just looked on the DSLDevelopements who are an online sales outlet for Brodit in the UK and the price from them for the mouning plate for an iPad and the head restraint fitting system is £80-00 before postage....................... How on this earth did LR manage to rack it up to £300+
