Tash - you are right that there are a lot of used MINIs out there. No MINI dealer was interested in mine. I think the problem is that the dealer network are artificially inflating used prices. At the moment I've got my 2007 Cooper S (27,000 miles with JCW kit) advertised for £9,800. A MINI dealer told me to try and get £11k for it! Haven't had a trade in price yet but I'd sell it privately for around £9k. Think the trade in is going to be around £7.5 to £8.
Once I've got a delivery date locked down I'll stick it on autotrader.
