RE: MarkA_'s Mauritus Blue Dynamic 5dr Si4

One thing that I find weird about the Black Pack is that nearly all the additional trim is black except the Land Rover badging which is still Dark Green............ as the 2011/2012MY cars had all black badges I'm sure that LR has a few hiding in a box at the back of the factory that they could have used to complete the blackness effect

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Hmm with the black pack, I think a few things are odd/infuriating and more befitting a cheap econobox than a range rover...

The front and rear valances are Santorini black.
The range rover badges are Santorini black.
The wing mirrors are Santorini black.
My roof is Santorini black,
but,
The plastic and metal on all pillars,
The side wing mirror mounts and
The wheels are all flat blacks of varying tones.

Amateur hour...

Now: MY14 Dynamic Mauritius Blue/Contrast Pano, IP, BP, PIP, Powered Tailgate, IncontrolR+S, etc.
History: '08 BMW 123d MSport Coupe, '01 Mini Cooper, '91 BMW 316i, '96 Mitsubishi FTO, '96 Mazda 323, '88 Holden Camira

The flat black parts are not painted. That's the colour of the plastic. I agree though all the black parts should be the same colour / type of finish

Pure Coupe SD4 Manual; Fuji White; 19" style 5 wheels; Addaptive Xenons; Auto Lights, Wipers and Rear Mirror; Folding mirrors with cool puddle lights. Magnoflow Exhaust finishers

So my InControl Secure subscription expiry date came and went.

Don't rely on LR sending you a notification when InControl Secure is due for renewal. The company that deals with their old trackers will contact you, lead you on a run around until they figure out you are on InControl Secure, then tell you LR will contact you directly to arrange renewal.

Subsequently they don't, your subscription lapses, leaving you InSecure.

There's no information anywhere on who to contact to renew the subscription.

Not sure, I'll let you know when I've found the right person to talk to about it.

I only paid for 1yr as I wanted to make sure I liked the Evoque before shelling out for the extra years. As it is I will probably only pay for this yearly as it hasn't "captured my heart" so could go at any time.
