MPG

I've ordered a new Evoque 2.0 ed4 150bhp 2WD SE Tech as a company car. A colleague has had his for a couple of months and has over 3k on the clock. He is only averaging 40-45mpg. Does anyone else have this version and what is your mpg like? I know it won't hit the 65mpg that LR state, but I would of expected 50-55mpg

RE: MPG

Hi there
I have the 2013 ED4 model. I get 50-57 mpg on a 1000 km round trip I do regularly between Sydney and Wagga. 6th gear and cruise control set at 115 km/h. Trip is from sea level to 2000ft and back. Better in the winter (10 degrees C) worst in the summer (40 degrees C).
Cheers
John

RE: MPG

My RRS SVR does 14.5 mpg, on a "good" day. 40 - 45 mpg is a dream. Besides, with fuel being so cheap now, why worry?

Mark

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR

RE: MPG

Land Rover states that my SD4 4WD Auto will do 43mpg.

I can manage over 42 on my commute home from work along the M4 before I have to turn off.

That's with cruise control set to 55-60mph. And with a tail wind. And a 120metre drop in altitude...

RE: MPG

and then you loose all that gain on the way home heading up hill and into the wind............

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Averaging 47 mpg between fill-ups, but 54.4 for most recent, long journey (motorway/country A roads, with Cruise Control on where possible/sensible). Mine's an SD4 4WD Auto so your ED4 should easily beat that!
