Dont get that test it just measures chassis stiffness and length against suspension travel, the BMW and CX5 would likely spin the back wheel, or twist the chassis if further articulation were attempted, the evoque would continue up the ramp with wheel in the air, its deliberately got a stiff chassis to stop it twisting and damaging it off road, have they tried it on the axle twister... point missed.

That Dynamic bumper seems make quite a difference to the approach angle. Would be interesting to see the same test on the non-dynamic bumper.

After taking my freelander 2 (has a better approach angle than the evoque) out on some tracks over the weekend, I have definitely made my mind up to get a pure over a dynamic. With that front bumper you are bound to attract damage.
