LR Mud Flaps?

To fit or not to fit this is the question ..............

I have had them on some of my previous cars and the LR ones do a good job, BUT do they spoil the lines of the Evoque?
LR own brand I have found to be pretty well indestructable even in heavy off-road situations

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: LR Mud Flaps?

Have only seen two pics with them on and actually think on the Prestige (and Pure) they look quite good. They seem to be exactly the same material as the non painted bumper bits on the Prestige and having them makes those bumpers look a little less 'akward' (They appear to be part of the bumper rather than stuck on afterwards)

On the Dynamic maybe will have a different effect.

So I'm quite tempted

Current: SD4 Dynamic Auto, 5 Door, Orkney Grey with Black Contrast Pano roof and 20" Shadow Chrome wheels. Pursuit interior. [countdown="Hand over"]15th June 2013 2:00pm[/countdown]

Gone: Si4 Prestige Auto Coupe, Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof, Element interior, Shadow Chrome 20" wheels with most of the bits & pieces loaded. [countdown="Hand over"]29th November 2011 2:00pm[/countdown]

Refer to this post http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Got-to-dr...66#pid6566 from alsaamike for a pic of the Prestige with mud flaps

RE: LR Mud Flaps?

I really would want to see them on an actual car before I decided. Some cars look good with them and some look awful.

It looks like they are only available for Pure and Prestige and not Dynamic ( I guess because the panels are different)

On order: Volvo XC60 T5 Inscription Pro

Current: Porsche Macan, Pebble Interior, Volcano Grey, Bose, other extras which cost lots and should be standard

Gone:
BMW X6 m diesel with BMW exclusive interior
Evoque Dynamic Orkney, Accolade Dynamic Plus Sports Interior (Ivory)
Evoque. Coupe, Dynamic, Fuji, Pursuit (x2)
Scirocco 2.0 GT DSG, Black, Black Lthr, 19" Luganos
TT Mk 2, Grey, Audi Exclusive Int
SLK Mk 2, Blk, Beige Lthr
TT Mk 1, Blue, Silver Lthr

RE: LR Mud Flaps?

Not according to the accessories pricelist I have:
VPLVP0065 Front Mud Flaps £ 129.25
VPLVP0069 Rear Mudflaps £ 129.25
VPLVP0066 Front Mudflaps - Vehicles fitted with Dynamic £ 61.10
VPLVP0070 Rear Mudflaps - Vehicles fitted with Dynamic £ 125.73

Goodness knows why cars with Dynamic have front mudflaps that are half the price of the rears or the non-Dynamic equipped cars!

RE: LR Mud Flaps?

Thanks for the clarification.

As usual the LR website is behind the game as it is only showing mudflaps for Pure and Prestige.

Still think I will wait and see

RE: LR Mud Flaps?

Here's the reason why I am fitting mud-flaps. Hopefully, there will be less of this being thrown up by the front tyres (rears are similar).

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR
