RE: Kahn Teases RS250 Range Rover Evoque Tune

Seems to be a conversion from a Pure. Which would make sense cause it would be the cheapest.

Looks completely different on the outside and inside anyway so no need to get an expensive Dynamic for the bodykit and seats as they changed that completely.

Looks too much like a Ford Focus hatchback now. and 595 + VAT for the grille? the VB Edition Grille is way better!

Evoque Round 2: Fuji Si4 Dynamic - 5dr. Pursuit interior. Dynamic Tech Pack. Adaptive Xenons. 19in Standard Alloy wheels. Twisted Evil
Contrast black roof (to be painted soon). (Previously a Firenze Pure owner - still my favourite colour Wink)

Actually the price on the roof spoiler, from the order form I got from Marcus @ Kahn on July 12th, is a higher price than what you mentioned.

RS - ROOF SPOILER - £895.00 +VAT
FITTING & PAINTING - £175.00 +VAT

Price is same on the grille...

RS - FRONT GRILLE WITH 3D MESH - £595.00 +VAT

I quite like the metallic orange one, but you can keep the orange edged quilted seats, was also taken with the grille but not at that price!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

It's interesting that all these styling packages concentrate on how the car looks inside and out and not on how the car drives and its performance. I've asked around about mechanical upgrades and there's next to nothing. In particular, it looks like Ford and JLR have already wrung most of the available performance out of the engines, especially if durability is key. It wil be interesting to see what JLR do, if anything, about a higher performance variant.

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR

WHile I would love to see the 5.0 V8 from the RR Sport Supercharged shoehorned into the Evoque, a higher perfromance version will likely be a 6.

I would be first in line for that vehicle if it had the Evoque's body and sizing, and the supercharged engine of the sport + Air Suspension -- that would be a Cayenne Turbo S fighter

RE: Kahn Teases RS250 Range Rover Evoque Tune

There is rumoured to be V6 and V6 Supercharged verrsions in test at the moment. There will never be airsuspension on an Evoque - this was gone through endlessly with the Freelander2 - it is way too heavy (think increased CO2 and fuel consumption) and space inefficient for the Evoque and very expensive which would make it a very low volume selling option. I think this was why LR went down the Magneride route rather than the airsuspension route - Magneride has a tiny weight penalty , hardly any moving parts and no weighty compressor or air struts to find a home for under the car. Air suspension is great on a full size SUV but not really a proposition for a "car" sized SUV.
