The 'bat sign' is probably the most remarked about feature about my car thus far - small touches like these are what sets the Evoque apart from pretty much everything else on the road

Current: SD4 Dynamic Auto, 5 Door, Orkney Grey with Black Contrast Pano roof and 20" Shadow Chrome wheels. Pursuit interior. [countdown="Hand over"]15th June 2013 2:00pm[/countdown]

Gone: Si4 Prestige Auto Coupe, Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof, Element interior, Shadow Chrome 20" wheels with most of the bits & pieces loaded. [countdown="Hand over"]29th November 2011 2:00pm[/countdown]

A colleague of mine said you know you've spent too much money when the car projects a picture of itself... Laughing

Have to admit, my Lexus has puddle lights but no design.

But...

My Lexus has always had the swooping dials when you turn it on.....not new with the evoque.

Also....since I have started...

Video calling was around in 2003..... last year Apple brought it out again with the Iphone 4 and called it Facetime, and people were like "wow...what is this new feature"

Not related but still Smile

Still waiting for my RRE Sad

Sorry to offend, vision*R... coming from Porsche and everything about RRover is new to me. Could swear I read the manual from cover to cover on the first night, but must have missed that one!

But help me to get this straight... aren't there RR Evoque's sitting on the dealers' sales lots waiting to go like there are here in the US? Or are you guys ordering your Evoque's to make sure you get them exactly the way you want?

There are some for sale but not many, and private sales are going for a premium.
The problem isthat the majority I've seen are 3 doors at dealers, but to get the exact spec in the colour you want is nigh on impossible. That's why most are holding out for their own choices.

Arrived 16th December 2011: 5 door Prestige SD4 auto in Barolo black with ambience interior, pano roof, privacy and 20" style 6 alloys.Very Happy

RE: Just noticed this from rearview mirrors after two weeks with my Evoque!

In my country, every dealer has 1 car, sometimes 2 cars in stock. That's maybe 20 cars for 10 million people. Mostly 3d Dynamics while I definitely need a 5d.

We had the disadvantage of having one of the first official presentations of the Evoque at our annual car show in January 2011, so a whole bunch of advance orders. After that it turned out LR is not taking orders on a first-come-first-served basis but merely a X cars per country basis - which means that in a tiny country like Belgium, you have to wait much much longer even though you ordered long before all these UK / US orders.

Prestige TD4 5d / Fuji White / Tech pack / Parallel park / Pano / Order 26/01/2011 / Build 13/12/11 / Arrival 04/01/2012
