Jaguar C-X17

Is it me or does the concept C-X17 look like a jag version of the evoque?

RE: Jaguar C-X17

Two questions.
What engine. More than 190bhp?
What price? Looking at the video, it's going to be a lot more than the RRE. In try JLR form, it's a case of market price +20% +5k for options. knowing that people will still buy them.

based on Freelander2/Evoque, also looks a bit Mazda from the front and Macan-ish from the rear 3/4 view

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I think Mazda should be flattered by that comment, though even sounds like the mazda ... CX7.

I like it, theyve done a great job Jaguarising it.

More like the Shaaaaag if it was Clarkson.

Save for the excessively large grill, I think it beats what Porsche look to be doing with the Macan.

And here: I also read that it's going to be sat on 23" wheels!

RE: Jaguar C-X17

In those reports Alan Volkaerts, said it would have the new engine which will be built at the new engine factory in Telford, so I guess this is the new Hotfire engine.

I would like to know how many different Hotfire engines will be built there?

The concept interior looks extremely futuristic, but no doubt that will get toned down come production.

For us it looks like it could well replace the Evoque but mabye in two years time. Would like to see any early production issues sorted before opting for a new design this time around.

JLR may well lose some repeat Evoque sales to this new model, not that they will be worried about that as most of their business will come from India and Chinese sales.

Evoque No3: MY15 Dynamic Lux SD4, Auto, Santorini Black, Pimento Dynamic Plus Sports Seats, Ebony headlining, Pan Roof, Shadow Chrome Alloys.
