Is the Si4 a good Engine?

This may be negatively viewed, but there have been a number of stories on this and other forums about people having problems with the Si4 2.0L Ford Ecoboost as installed in the Evoque. It was my only option and I hadn't heard about it myself and so far it has been okay and I'm happy with it, but I'm still a little worried. I have to assume LR is looking into the claims as these cars usually end up with an engine light and back in the dealer's garage.
