Interesting use or an Evoque

Saw this today on the way to the airport in Brussels. Plenty of them in Brussels but this is the first Taxi I've seen.

Bit of an expensive car to run for a Taxi I'd have thought, maybe they believed the Mpg hype! Wink

When I first bought my Mazda, I went to Austria and all the Taxis were the same! (lower spec fortunately) but made me think the reliability was trusted though.

RE: Interesting use or an Evoque

The guy who was driving me said that the company using it was a limo company and they only had exotic or expensive cars as they try to appeal to the higher end of the market. Seems they have a Maybach in their fleet.

I wonder how they carved up the dash to get the meter in?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I think yo can just see in the picture that there is some kind of sucker mount on the windscreen so I am guessing its that. The taxis in Brussels all have the same meter system and its about the size of an iPhone box.

I pay 29 euros for my journey but I can't imagine they charge the same.
