Insurance - who are you going with?

I decided, with such a nice new car, it's time to be honest about my profession. As such, my current insurance company won't insure me at all! So that means a whole new policy.

So who are you going with to insure your Evoque? And what is your premium?

Has anyone gone with Land Rover's insurance?

Do Land Rover give a couple of weeks free insurance to allow you to drive the car away or is this something you need to sort out before the handover?

Any comments or advice greatly received cos I've never had a car worth more than £5k.

I was with swiftcover but their quote was outrageous in comparison to others so Aviva looks promising.

There was a big thread on insurance, let me try and link it. I'm going with LR insurance as for me they were as competitive. You can get 7 days free cover from the dealer.

Definitely, but I'm sure you'll understand me not disclosing that info!

RE: Insurance quote

Reading through this, Admiral and LV seem to be people's main choices. Any reason for this or is it purely price?

I'm surprised people aren't talking about Direct Line. I thought they were supposed to be cheap?
