I dont think of everyone as a criminal, far from it. Big Dave may well be a very nice chap.

His number plate is illegal though, its not a "criminal" offence as such but its illegal. Its also my personal opinion that when people mis-space plates and alter them they look terrible.

The dvla could also take it off him if they wanted to without compensating him and spacing it like that is just asking for attention from his local rozzers.
