How does Terrain Response work on a manual?

Have found a bit more about terrain response and the effect is has on ABS, allowing additional wheel spin etc. No comment on changes to throttle though I shouldn't expect there would be any on a manual.

Will take one for a test drive to see what I think. Current car is manual so quite used to the control and extra 'feel'. Also the reliability is boosted (hate the idea of it becoming unusable and not being easily able to tow/ move it).

Should add that though it will go off road, it's not going to test it's abilities. Only camping access, maybe some sand/ beaches, snow, etc.

Terrain Response will change the throttle response in a manual just as it does in an auto.
Grass, Gravel Snow will give you a graduated response to minimise the risk of wheelspin.
Mud Ruts will give a more normal response, will turn on HDC by default.
Sand will give a more dynamic response to get the car moving in sand.

Terrain Response does more than that but that should give an idea of what it's doing.
