Halewood visit

and did you see already the 2wd eD4's being build ?

Difficult to tell from tour as whilst you see all of the build elements, you don't actually follow a car through.

Didn't notice any 2WD - but wasn't looking for that so could have been...... And there were a LOT of cars being built!!!

When I visited, the guide pointed at some pressings and said: "these pressings will be used to make a body shell this afternoon, it will be painted overnight and the car will be complete by lunchtime tomorrow". With 500+ cars a day being produced, they can't have them hanging around.

So if we say (1) day to complete a car from nothing,that seems to be where it's at. Thankyou.

If you know your build date, could you (theoretically) book a factory visit and see your car on the production line?? that would be cool, and a great keep-sake photo if you can get a part-built photo of your actual car
