Had ours detailed yesterday!

By James at ti22.co.uk, Very happy with the results.

Although it show that the paint is so thin in places on the front bumper that you can see the plastic underneath! Sent photos to the dealer, we'll see what they say.

Anyway photo's here - http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/sh...p?t=246724

Thanks

I'm actually pretty shocked at the level of swirling on such a new car Sad
Great job and looks fantastic!

Great pics! Nice job.

The black gloss parts on the pillars are absolutely terrible for swirling on the Evoque.

I'd bet interested to know which parts had thin paint as mine was good all over - just want to check we didn't miss a measurement.

Thanks

The black bits are really delicate, had a look at brand new evoque in the dealers and it was just as bad. I might even consider getting them painted in a metallic black, something like porsche basalt black.

The paint all over the number is really thin, I'll post some pictures in a minute. Wouldn't surprise if the bumper was changed on ours at some point?
Here's some photos of the thin paint on the bumper, also one showing how much 'orange peel' is on the bumper compared to the wing.

yes that is just the same as mine, you can also see a faint hint of blue if you look up whee the fog lights are, i had just sent some similar photos to land rover with query about it, also as i have a problem with paint coverage on my rear spoiler.
