Grumbling/knocking steering - Help please

My car seems to have developed a faint (but definite) knocking noise when I turn the steering wheel more than 1/4 turn when the car is moving at low speed. Sounds a bit like the knock you get from a worn drop link.

Is anyone aware of any technical bulletins on the this before I go to the dealers?

CV Joint? If I remember correctly from my mini days, the sound was always more pronounced when reversing slowly in a circle.

Full lock in each direction will often show up a CV joint. More likely anti roll bar link or a steering joint if its just the 1 knock rather than repeated clicks.

But if something is knocking it could be a faulty component rather than wear from mileage, that's what the warranty's for, still need to find what it is.
