I wouldn't recommend trying this in an Evoque as the ground clearance is not great enough, but here is a great illustration of how TR on a modern RR can belittle even the latest version of the Defender. Note that the Red RRS is on All Terrain tyres the Defender is on Mud Terrain tyres. The ground clearance of the Defender is slightly greater than the RRS's unless it is a TDv8 RRS which has electronically dislocating rear anti-roll bars that give it 5cm more wheel articulation. The RRS was using a mode of TR that we don't have - Rock Crawl. That RRS if I remember also has the e-diff rear diff which is an option on RRS and D4's and also makes a big difference in the slippery stuff.
