GOT IT, AT LAST !
Picked up the Evoque from T&C, in Aberdeen, last Thursday. Had the promised rubber footwell and loadspace mats installed, F.O.C. and the mud flaps fitted, as part of LR £150 offer + a full tank of fuel. Full marks to T&C and especially Duncan Bain, their senior sales specialist, for keeping me fully informed of progress of my Evoque order. He also did a follow up telephone call today, to check all was OK. Also received a very nice Christmas Hamper from their Operations Manager, as an apology for the confusion/delay in delivery.
Outstanding customer care.
What an excellent vehicle - fully satisfies all my expectations.
Had a couple of days driving in and around Aberdeen, taking ferry back to Shetland on Saturday night. Too cold yesterday to wash and polish, so have just finished doing that today. Now it's too dark to take any photos !
One tip, which I have not seen mentioned elsewhere, if you one click the light symbol, on the key fob, it puts on the headlights, but if you second click, it puts on the reversing lights also.
Will post some pics, once weather permits.

Yes, i read about the second click trick somewhere on the forum! fascinating!

Contrast black roof (to be painted soon). (Previously a Firenze Pure owner - still my favourite colour  )

Great to hear of excellent customer service, which it seems is rare with LR (aside from LPR and very few others).
