Fresh news. I went to an official land rover shop and they can not solve the problem because they can only modify a minor amount things into our ECU.

They are going to ask LR for a permission to make the LED signature work but don't want to get my hopes up.

I really don't know what else to do Crying

Not impossible but will require a conversion kit from someone that can modify the lights or add a module that generates a compatible LIN command set. But if someone finds a way... please let us know!

Don't think LR will be solving this for you. As Phil said above it will need a conversion kit and LR are not going to producing this.

If you can work out the LIN bus protocol and emulate it, then this could be a workable solution, Not sure if you could do this without a working 2016 Set lights to monitor a working LIN bus though to know what to do.

Has this been worked out. I brought the headlights hoping they
would go straight on. Shocked

RE: Full LED Headlight upgrade

I bought the Full LED Headlights in UK and they are now being modded in Italy to work with my Pre-Facelift Evoque. Will keep you posted once i receive them as they said they need a week or two to do the modding, and i will have to get them DHL'd out to me in Malawi, Africa, to test them...

Hi Nick,

RD Custom in Italy. I paid £700 for the Pair of Full LED Headlights on Ebay and then paid €420 to RD Custom for them to adapt them. They have already adapted the Facelift Xenons, but hadnt done the Full LEDs as they hadn't had a pair to test on, so i guess mine are the guinea pigs... If you search for RD Custom on Youtube you'll see a short video of their working facelift lights with the Linbus Controller they have made...
