Fuel Tank
Hello,
is anybody here, who has changed the fuel tank (for what ever reason)?
thinking about ordering a new evoque (SD4 9speed auto) and selling my SI4.
i was wondering if i could put a "petrol tank" (70 liters) into the SD4 (diesel's have only 58 liters).
is that a plug and play job or is there more to be done ?
thx for advice/tips

RE: Fuel Tank
I would have thought that if a 70 litre tank could be fitted in the space then LR would have done so - happy to be proved wrong

RE: Fuel Tank
I think and it's just a guess that the fuel tank will fit.
I think the evoque sd4 has the smaller tank to keep the weight and co2 down, the si4 engine is lighter uses more fuel and hence it has a bigger fuel tank, the fuel pumps could be different though.
One of the happy owners, ordered June 2011, delivered Wednesday 8th February 2012, now 97000 miles. Scorpions lasted 78'000 miles.

RE: Fuel Tank
As modern tanks are plastic and seem to be moulded around the shape of the underside of the car ?I doubt it would fit
