Front lower air deflectors on bumpers
Do they serve any purpose?
One of mine has fallen off.... Or perhaps I knocked it off whilst off roading????
I see they just use the plastic pop on rivet things..... So I've pulled the other off.
Can't make up my mind whether to get a replacement for the one I lost...
Not sure what the point of them is.... They are marketed as air deflectors..!
Not noticed anything odd handling wise.
Maybe a cosmetic thing?

I pulled one off on my 1st evoque so got home and took the other off. I then did the same on this evoque. Lol
I can't say I could tell the difference!!

RE: Front lower air deflectors on bumpers
I think the idea is to deflect air away from the rotating tyres to improve mpg/CO2 by a bit.
The Dynamic model doesn't have them, probably because the lower front bumper does the deflection anyway.
Jan '12 Dynamic SD4 Auto, 19" General Grabber AT, a few options, off to Kenya soon.

I'll see if there is any noticeable difference in mpg.
If anyone has a spare near side one?
