I've seen worse and it will be a lot cheaper, so bound to sell.

It won't be on my shopping list though.

Evoque No3: MY15 Dynamic Lux SD4, Auto, Santorini Black, Pimento Dynamic Plus Sports Seats, Ebony headlining, Pan Roof, Shadow Chrome Alloys.

Apparently, it would cost £22000 max so it will sell to a wider market...

Looks good. But a contender no, at the end of the day it's a Ford, no match for LR or any of the Germany brands.
But look out Nissan.

I think it looks cool! It could have been a contender if it had been around at the same time as the evoque and a shot waiting list. My father has a Mondeo and I like the way it drives.

Why not? You can get a Kuga as a 4x4 and it is, in fact, the same system as used on Evoques (admiittedly without the clever terrain electronics).

DD I stated SUV:
It doesn't even have the hill descent control that the Rav4 or Tiguan have. And that's not even part of the terrain response. Remember LR have now moved on from Ford!

Fair enough, but, in the bit of your post I italicised to indicate which bit I was replying to, you had said it doesn't have "any other handy SUV features".
