I shall be trusting and assume the OP is genuine. Did you discuss it all with the dealer? As this seems nothing like anyone has reported before could this be a very long shot of this car having a fault? If you were dead set on an Evoque then worth at least taking out a different car. A Dynamic would give you a different feel with the ADs.

From what you've said, looks like you've already cancelled.

I never experienced anything like that on my test drive. Very strange indeed.
