I will have waited almost 10 months from order if it stays at that date. Some people hvae been waiting far far less.

I read today on the other evoque forum someone who ordered in early december getting delivery 7th march.

I suspect LR are prioritising higher spec cars in order to make more cash.

Ordered ours in May 2011 for delivery in December 2011, no wait a minute, mid January 2012, no we meant end of January, oh hang on a sec. its definately 1st March, sorry we meant we are building it 1st March, or was it the 5th so dealer gets it 26th March or whatever, whatever, whatever.
The simple question to Land Rover customer care or whatever they call themselves is why its so unfair. How can some orders be processed so quickly?
We budgeted for end of 2011, and have cash waiting with no trade-in and have had to by an old knacker to tide us over (should put Evoque stickers on it mayby).
I hate to think what all this has cost us but I get the impression that LR couldn't care less.
Hope I'm wrong.

I honestly think I'm wasting my time and have started to look at others. Frankly I think they can shove it:Embarrassed

I suppose late delivery has saved me a good bit cash really, my £650 snotter will have depreciated a whole lot less than my 2009 scirocco which went pop in sept and was bought back by vw as it was proved to be a bit of a lemon.

RE: February call window....

Our car order was placed Dec 23 and was at dealer about 21st Feb, we collected car 1st March.
Dealer now says any new persons wishing to order delivery could be 6 months, though apparently there is a dealer in Scotland I am told quoting 12 weeks.

2017 Evoque SE Tech - Kaikoura Stone - > PREVIOUSLY - 5dr Pure Mauritius blue with panoramic roof, power tailgate.

Cancelled order slot methinks. I guess that's one way dealers get another order. Why give a cancelled order slot to the person next in line, as it'll make no extra profit for them( the dealer), but tell a prospective buyer they can have a new car in 3 months rather than 6/7/8+ and they'll jump at the chance. Those already in the queue at the dealer will never know someone jumped in front of them...
