Evoque ordered - Germany

Hello from Germany.

I ordered a 5dr. Dynamic SD4 in Fuji white with panorama roof, xenon, park assist, (independent) vehicle heater and lot more. The order has done 2010/10/18.

Now I´m reading a lot of delivery problems with xenons, panorama roofs, SD4 engines and so on.
Are these problems only for the base version "PURE"?
Is the lag of xenons and pano roofs also for the "DYNAMIC" version?

Yes, the problems for delivery delays are for all, but the problems with the xenon are only for the pure option.

Hi Pfanni, I also ordered in Germany (Freiburg), where did you order from? what expected date have you been quoted?

I ordered in the near of Stuttgart. The dealer didn't give me an exact deliviry date yet.
The only information I get was March 2012.

It seems most of the delays mentioned are for the UK. I think that's because Landrover want to prioritize/fulfill their foreign orders so that Evoques are seen everywhere. No better form of LR advertising then having cars on the road in time internationally.
Anyway, I hope that's the case. Mine is due end November.
Is any foreign owner reading this been alerted of delays?

My dealer told me that he has only 3 days each month to order cars.
Also, only in between these 3 days he get feedback from LR.
So, he has to wait for this little time window to get a delivery date.

It sounds crazy - 3 days each month!

Hop over to the Australian Forum, quite a few guys there hinting at delays.

Called my dealer last week and my originally planned February delivery was postponed to May. My dealer had their showroom cars pre-ordered in August and LR tried to postpone those as well. They are now scheduled to late March and one of those was changed for me.

There were about 100 cars pre-ordered in Finland and about 50 have already been delivered. Current estimate is that rest of those will be here before new year.

Not exactly, Xenons are standard on Prestige and Dynamic so the shortage of lights affects them too. By removing Xenons from Pure's, they can conserve the supply of Xenons for these cars and build Pure's without so much of a delay.

In Spain, all the deliverys for this months has been delayed one month and half. For Prestige and Dynamic, too.
