Evoque off roading experience

Went out today to test drive the Evoque off road it was amazing handle the training beautifully. Hope you guys like the video Smile

           

Pure SD4 Auto Black Tech pack, Pano roof, Powered tailgate, Dim rear view, Carpet mats & edging, Parking Assist Aid - Rear camera, Folding mirrors, Front Fogs, Auto Light, Rain sensor, Adaptive Xenons, Heated SW, Keyless entry and Privacy Glass arrived 13 Jan 12 Smile

I drove that very vehicle on Friday afternoon!!

Came Home On 02/03/13 Pure Tech In Barolo Black/Cirrus Trim with Bespoke Firenze Ascents + Numerous Factory Options!!
Also :-

Rover 25GSi - 2005 Everyday Car.
MG ZR-Express Van - 2005 Special Factory Order (Literally a one off).
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 Shows/Sunny Days.
MG Metro 1300 - 1983 Being Restored!

Thoroughly enjoyed it, would do it again there but that said there are other locations that would be nice to explore as well. I fancy Gaydon next time.

The instructor at Luton Hoo did say that they are trying to get planning permission to use another large woodland area to expand the course - sounds good!

Sounds just like any other similar sized diesel. The tinny mics on cameras and camera phones seem to exacerbate the tractor sound.

Nowhere near as nice as the Si4, though.

Arrived (5/11/11): SD4 5-door "Presnamic" Lux Very Happy Auto, Fuji, Spirit/Tan, Style 8 20" Wheels, fully loaded (bar RSE, smoker's pack and Homelink)

It's very quiet & sounds quite refined compared to the Freelander (or mine anyway).

East of England(Rockingham Castle) have a good off road site which will show off Evoque really well.
They also have an Si4 Prestige 5 door at the moment if you want a different experience from the diesel.
