Evoque is supposed to be in a "niche" of it's own

So if you had to find 3 competitors for it in a set of road tests in the following classes which cars do you think it competes against?

1) Compact Coupe

2) Compact 4WD with off-road ability 3 or 5 doors

3) Quality Family Hatchback/ Estate with 5 doors

Mine would be
1) Audi TT, VW Scirocco, Volvo C30
2) Subaru Forrester, Audi Q5, Kia Sportage
3) VW Golf, Freelander2, BMW 3 Series Touring

It is actually very difficult to find competitors within the same price bracket - I could have added the Peugeot R-CZ or the Honda CRZ as coupe competition, or moved the Freelander2 up to the 4WD with off-road ability, but trying to find a compact hatchback/estate to compete against the 5 door Evoque is very difficult

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
