RE: Evoque XL

Wow, what an Ugly car! The longer length really distorts the looks, if that's how it's going to look I'll stick with the crap size boot and good looks!

Me thinks this Evoque will Bomb!!

RE: Evoque XL

It is a test mule for the forthcoming Freelander 3 and possibly LWB Evoque. The body is a hybrid body to cover the chassis, transmission and engine and is in no way meant to be a representation of any future model.
The body in the photo has bumps and bits in places to cover what is underneath. Look back at the Freelander 1 test mule that had a Maestro Van body on it and it will give you some idea of what is going on with this model.

(of course my comments may come back to haunt me when the real car is revealed at some time in the future)

Yep, I agree. Can't remember if it was Autocar or Autoexpress that initially stated Evoque XL, then corrected itself by stating it was the test mule for the 2015 Freelander 3. I think it was the rear side windows that eventually gave it away.

Arrived 16 December 2011: Prestige SD4 auto 5dr in OG with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Xenons, Surround Cameras, Auto Dimming Rearview, Grey Oak Wood, Spare Wheel and Powered Tailgate.

Joining 2010 Freelander XS Td4e in Stornoway Grey (we like Grey!)
