1.5 seconds improvement in 0-60mph will never happen on a diesel Evoque, unless you start stripping out the interior!

I agree that .63 of a second doesn't sound a lot, and I am sure I could squeeze a little more out of it yet. However, I will not compromise reliability and refinement, of which our current remap has in abundance.

The SD4 does feel quite sluggish, but this feeling is lost when remapped.

How does the manual remap compare?

I honestly don't know, is the simple answer to that. I'll bet it'll be pretty impressive, as the torque convertor on the Auto makes take up quite sluggish. A remapped SD4 makes for a really bright engine, and so will probably go like a stabbed rat with a manual box. Tongue Out

The first person to bring an SD4 Manual to me for some 'Data Logging', goes home with a free gift. Wink

Remapping of all diesel Evoque models will be £550+vat. Initial tuning is very time consuming, and could take quite a few hours to complete.

Re-Installation of a new remap after a dealer software update will be charged for our time only, at our hourly labour rate, with nothing else to pay. This can take between 1-2 hours.

Best Regards,

Gary.

Official LR 0-60mph is 8 seconds exactly, so to achieve 7.83 is not exactly setting the world on fire, given you are charging £550+vat for the pleasure....

The official land rover figures are not consistent. I also have read 0-60 mph in 8 seconds, and then next to it, 0-100 kph in 8.5 seconds.

Our car will not do 0-60 mph any quicker than 8.5 seconds in standard tune.

The point is there was an improvement of .63 of a second between standard and remapped!

RE: Evoque Remapping by Alive

I thought most firms provided post service remaps for free?
I think the 0-60 times are different because the Coupe Auto is quicker that 5 door but I could be wrong - usually am Smile

Arrived: SD4 Prestige Auto Coupe with Lux pack. Ipanema Sand with Black Panoramic Roof
Ambience Interior with Macassa wood.

Now a Jag XFR Kyanite Blue - wow what power.
At home and superb.

Most firms will remap for free and both 0-60 times are the same griff.
