Love that interior and the lettering does look so much better

Very nice, if I had the choice that would be my exact spec.

Pretty sure they are the stuck-on sort not the in-built bonnet sort ... they look too proud of the bonnet to me. I may be wrong of course.

RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done.

If you open the bonnet you will see if they are just stuck on or not. If you have the real deal then there are cut outs through the bonnet and you will see daylight

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done.

Hi everyone

Thanks for the comments, to answer the questions that have been raised

Some of the pics were taken at Highclere Castle (unfortunately I do not live there!!)

I have changed the letters from the standard ones. Its quite an easy job to do as long as you are patient. These things are always a matter of taste its just that I think that the darker letters look better on white, silver or grey cars.

Having had 2 Evoque coupes the only thing which is missing from the 5 door is the bonnet vents. I cannot justify ( to my mind) the extra £1k for a coupe over a 5 door when the 5 door looks so good and is more practical. Also the vents on the coupe are purely cosmetic and are not required from an engineering perspective. I thought I would try some vents which I put on myself and am very happy with the result, also if I dont like them they are easy to remove. I do not think it is worth getting a whole new bonnet just for the vents, even a dealer did not spot the difference until you actually look through them! for me its a good and effective compromise, I made my own template from my coupe and they are no more proud from the bonnet than the coupe ones are.

Everyone has different tastes, its my car and I like it.

Have also now done 2000 miles and the interior is holding up very well, just a wipe of the drivers seat every couple of weeks keeps it looking like new. Some friends who have just got a new BMW were at pans to point out to me that my interior makes their BMW look like an old mans car lol

On order: Volvo XC60 T5 Inscription Pro

Current: Porsche Macan, Pebble Interior, Volcano Grey, Bose, other extras which cost lots and should be standard

Scirocco 2.0 GT DSG, Black, Black Lthr, 19" Luganos
TT Mk 2, Grey, Audi Exclusive Int
SLK Mk 2, Blk, Beige Lthr

Maybe its third time lucky to get the car I always wanted and its good to say I really like my Dynamic Plus interior in Ivory. Have not yet seen another one like this but am sure they are out there by now.

My previous Evoque history was:

Evoque 1 - Ordered July 2011, Delivered Jan 2012, rejected having had 13 faults with the car.

Evoque 2 - Delivered Mar 2012 - good car and was faultless on a 3500 mile Italian tour in the summer.

Evoque 3 - Ordered Jan 2013 delivered Early March 2013 - great price for my existing car and could finally get the interior which I always wanted.

I know that everyone has different tastes but thought I would post some pics of the car now that it has settled in and done its first thousand miles.
and a couple of interior shots as I have not seen many about with this interior, no doubt it will have its detractors but for me it finishes ths car off fantastically

Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy

Hey There,

Out of curiosity, what were the 13 faults on the original car? Sad

Cheers

SD4 Pure Tech Manual, 5 Door, Fuji White with Black Contrast Roof, Black Grille/Vents/Mirror Caps, Pure Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Mud Flaps.

RE: Evoque Number 3, 1500 miles done.

I never thought that the cream Plus pack seats would have a black moulding on their backs, it looks good in that colour scheme. I'm very taken with the tan Plus pack apart from I think there is too much black in the interior with that option.
