Dynamic SD4 without Adaptive Dynamics or TD4 with?

Hi

Close to making a decision on an Evoque but would like some thoughts on the adaptive dynamics option.

In Ireland AD is not standard and I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on getting a SD4 without AD or a TD4 with it? I've not had an opportunity to drive one with AD to see what the difference is like.

Any input would be appreciated.

Spiderman has posted at length on the wonder that is AD. Someone less technologically challenged can post a link I'm sure

Thanks - I stupidly posted without doing a search first.

I forgot to mention it's a manual - so no know to twist to get to Dynamic setting.

Reading the lost post seems to suggest that I'll go down to the TD4 and add in the AD.

Had same question, definitely read spider man review, i eventually chose TD4 with AD.

I didn't think you could get AD with the TD4 engine .... I thought it was only available with SD4 or Si4 ....... I could be wrong

In the UK maybe not but the guys are all overseas Blackseries

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Sorry ..... didn't realise it was a marketing limitation rather than an engineering one.

Seems crazy doesn't it - why can't the UK also have it on a TD4, it cannot add very much more weight that would affect to performance of emissions
