Double lock, sound confirm

Hi guys,

If I'm right, to engage double lock is to press the lock button for two times within three seconds. You also get horn feedback to confirm the lock. Correct?

Well, I've done that and worked perfectly with the demo car I drove before purchasing my Evoque. However after getting my Evoque, I've tried it and doesn't seems to be working. Is there some kind of condition, prerequisite to engage double lock?

Nope works for me everytime, unless a door is left open.

Is the audible locking sound ticked in the vehicle setup menu?

I'm pretty sure all doors, cargo door, bonnet are closed. Windows are closed too...

Was there such menu at Vehicle Setup Menu??

Go into menu on the right hand side of steering wheel.

Umm... I've went through this menu few days ago but couldn't find such menu... I hope this is not something due to the update of system. Anyway I'll look again, thanks Barton.

Thanks both of you for the reply.
I've just got informed from my dealer, saying that there are some model which there is no menu displaying audible warning. A bit odd, but my dealer will keep on their research.

Please keep me informed if you have any thing about this issue My model is 2013.
