RE: Did I buy the wrong Evoque?

Having driven many diesels, I find this SD4 well insulated with plenty of grunt.

I've had bigger diesels and high powered petrol cars and don't find the Evoque lacking in any way.

Idle noise is agricultural, but only from the outside.

Thinking about this sensibly, give this car the beans and you will be driving at illegal speeds quite quickly.

I tend to use the Evoque for longer journeys and would describe it as a mile muncher.

Yes a V6 diesel would be nice but LR say it doesn't fit in the engine bay, so that's that.

Evoque No3: MY15 Dynamic Lux SD4, Auto, Santorini Black, Pimento Dynamic Plus Sports Seats, Ebony headlining, Pan Roof, Shadow Chrome Alloys.

This sounds more like the start of an ingredient list for your lunch...

The petrol is a very refined engine. It is punchy & sounds good too. I am waiting for my Pure Tech diesel manual to arrive. I would likely have had a petrol in it but us in the UK can't have it.

Valeter, why did you replace your Si4?

One downside of the Si4 is likely to be increased depreciation.

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR

You should speak to Pete at bell auto services , then you can have a td4 with the power of the si4 and the torque of a monster truck!!

No SD4 or si4 needed at all then Very Happy
