Hi everyone.
I have found myself in the situation of buying and dealer demo Evoque from an "Award Winning" Melbourne Land Rover dealer that has delivered my vehicle to my representative agent without a valid Vic Roads Roadworthy Certificate.
In a blind panic the dealership have rang me up to get the vehicle back to them ASAP to complete this legal requirement.
As I was Interstate at the time, I was told via a phone call that transport of this vehicle was occuring the following day back to the dealership. This has since taken 5 days to get the Evoque 32km across Melbourne. Pathetic really.
I have now had to hire a car for a week to get to and from work. Costing me money. The dealership hopes that I have not been "Inconvenienced". They have been poor with their communication over this error, and have offered no recompense for the cost and time to me.
My question is should I report this dealership to Vic Roads for a breach of Section 42(A)1 of the Motor Car Traders Act ?
