DPF concerns - buying used evoque
Hello all,
I'm looking to buy a used Evoque from a local dealer most likely. I will be going for the 11-12 plates based on my budget with mileage between 50-60k.
Are there any MAJOR tell tale signs with regards to how much the DPF is clogged up? It's been the pain of my life previously in an older 2006 car but wasn't sure if it would be a similar issue. As I'm buying it for my sister it will most likely be used for short journeys (some longer ones too) but most 15 mile journeys.
Anything i should keep my eyes peeled for?
Thanks!
H

RE: DPF concerns - buying used evoque
Our 12 plate one with 40K on the clock, now does trips of between 5 and 7 miles per day plus many more of less than two miles. Occasional 15 mile trip once a week and a good run every 4-5 months. Haven’t had any DPF issues with it.

RE: DPF concerns - buying used evoque
Yep My 11 plate 45000 miles now mainly used for a 15mile journey twice a day, occasionally some motorway.
The ford DPF system seems one of the better ones.
Only issue I've had so far was a sensor/split pipe, nothing to do with DPF and easily repaired. This seems a fairly common issue.
