Creaky Tailgate

Does anyone else have a creaky noise coming from the back of the car when driving?

I have a noise that sounds a bit like plastic rubbing on plastic. Hoping it disappears over the next week or I'll be back to the dealer next week to have it looked at.

Yes! I have only had my car a couple of days and have noticed a creaky noice from the back. I also noticed when the boot is open that the plastic at the top of the tailgate has 2 rub marks one on either side!

Settling in? Little smear of vaseline to 'ease' things?

CJFP - this is what I thought. A little bit of Vaseline on my back door should help.

I think it is more noticeable now we have had the recent colder weather.

Good advice, you seem to know your way around Vaseline very well.

Not as well as LP it appears!

Nothing worse than a tight backdoor in cold weather.
