Counting the days

Been lurking in the background for a few days so thought it was time for my 1st post.

Counting the days until delivery. I currently drive a Jaguar XF, which is an outstanding car, but wanted a 4 x 4. The interior on the Evoque is not that much different and just as luxurious.

Belong to a Jaguar forum and hope that the banter on here is as good as the banter on there.

Its a killer having to wait luckily my 3 months are over and due to pick her up on saturday

My days go very slowly as we creep toward my March 12 build date and estimated April 20 delivery!

Oh my! Well you have my condolences and I hope the Evoque is at least a minor consolation.

Although I will be sorry to see the XF go I am getting an excellent replacement. I looked at several cars including the Volvo XC 60, Audi Q3, Honda CRV and test drove the Volvo. It was a very easy decision choosing the Evoque. Although this winter has been mild and we have had none of the white stuff the 4 previous winters have been fairly bad and I want the security of a 4x4. The XF is rubbish in the snow and stayed at home when it did snow.

A nice coincidence regarding the build date

Exactly what I did, and came to the same conclusion as you, that was heading for 3 years ago now, glad to see it hasn't changed and the Evoque still wins!

It's here. I had a phone call from the dealer this afternoon. It arrived last night. PDI booked for Monday and I will be collecting it on Tuesday. The excitement is building.

Collected my new car this afternoon. The colour is fantastic and my initial reaction was wow.

Looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow. Pictures to follow.
