Cornering lights

Hi we have just bought a 2016 facelift Evoque with xenon headlights. I also have a Discovery 3 which I Retrofitted cornering lights and find them great.
Is it possible to retrofit cornering lights to an Evoque, just to be clear I’m not taking about adaptive lights that move. I’m only asking about the extra light that comes on at low speed with the indicator. Where is the bulb? The front fog light looks to be perfect for this as it throws out a good wide light.
On the Discovery it was a very easy mod.
Thanks.

RE: Cornering lights

If you can do this, please write up a diy of how it’s done. My wife’s 2006 Renault Clio and my previous 2008 c class had cornering lights and they made so much difference. It’s a shame a car like this doesn’t have them as standard.

RE: Cornering lights

My trouble is I’m new to Evoques and can’t find where the cornering light bulb goes or do the fog lights double as cornering lights.

RE: Cornering lights

its a new headlight I'm afraid, and thats if the function is even there, I would also love to have it. Its only available with the adaptive.

RE: Cornering lights

I have a North American Evoque with adaptive lights... No cornering lights available here as far as I know. But looking at the headlights, I think you can see a chrome decorative filler where the cornering light would be.

RE: Cornering lights

it uses the bottom front fog lights when you turn the wheel in that direction.

RE: Cornering lights

It's with the LED headlights, in the headlight cluster, not in the foglap.

I don't have non-LED headlights so I'm only assuming this, the cornering lamp is located where the indicator is on non-LED headlight clusters.

The LED headlight clusters have the indicators built into the DRL, so the DRL flashes orange.
