Collecting on Tuesday

The paint thing is really hard to do at the dealers, I've had my car 2 weeks and only spotted it today when drying it

Presume you got your Evoque from Stratstone Newcastle Ceebee - did they fill the tank for you? - I had no idea that it was an LR directive as mentioned in an earlier post

Token Evoque...I think everyone on the Halewood production line is called Token. Reminds me of an old comedy sketch!

That was Not The Nine O'Clock News, everybody was called Bob and I think it was a British Leyland joke

It was a joke regarding a Fiat. Strada advert in the. Late 70's that had the caption "hand built by robots"

Hey Evo-King...I did indeed collect today...sadly not been enjoying it much as I flew in from Vegas today so had to rush to collect the car and then enjoy some sleep!

However...I can say already (from the 20 miles I've done) it exceeds my expectations...and more! It truly is an astonishing car, I am amazed at the road presence, the comfort of the ride, and particularly the sharpness of the steering. I did have an hours drive in one a couple of months back but today has reminded me just how good this car is.

I will try to get some pictures sorted out asap...in the meantime, here is a taster (and before anyone asks the reason for for the '11' plate, it's a private plate linked to my work!
