RE: Fuel consumption monitoring program

I emailed the Fuelly people and asked them to add the Evoque to the system, which they have now done.
Here is the reply I got from the admin.
Quote: Sure, no problem, got that added.

I notice that you added yours as a 'Evoque SD4 Dynamic Automatic'. We
don't like to get into tracking trim levels like this, so I'm not
going to approve that addition for public display. If you change it to
an 'Evoque' it will show up in public browsing and you can list the
details in your vehicle description.

Otherwise it's fine to leave it as you have it. It just won't show up
in the Browse Vehicles section of the site.

RE: Fuel consumption monitoring program

Interesting that of the eight Evoques currently listed on the Fuelly website it seems that five of them have hybrid engines! Laughing

From the Fuelly FAQ :

What do the engine type abbreviations such as L4 and V6 mean?

H4 = Hybrid four cylinder. We use H4 and H6 to refer to four and six cylinder engines that also use electricity to help with fuel economy. Subaru also makes a "horizontal" engine that we use H4 and H6 for in Subarus only. (If you know engines, this can also be confused with H engines, another rare engine type.)

RE: Fuel consumption monitoring program

At the bottom right of the page that shows your MPGs there is a small photo of your car (if you have posted one!) and next to it is a clickable link to
"VIEW ALL BADGES AND STUFF YOU CAN SHARE" click on that and it takes you to a new page with the codes for posting on forums.
If you go to the bottom of this page you will see what I am talking about (if you can get in!) http://www.fuelly.com/driver/xfullfattim/defender-90
On that page because I have selected some graphs the link is about half way down the page on the right

You need to add 1 fill-up to activate the log book before you can see the badge icon and get to the page for the link text. I just did this tonight!

Must have it working as your sig now shows 8.7mpg !!!
